Workday is a Fortune 500 human and financial capital management system. They needed to implement a scalable, robust DevOps process to support operational improvements to productivity and efficiency. The goal was to help speed up their DevSecOps technical review process and shift security left in the development lifecycle; Workday used to take weeks or months to do a technical security review. 

Opsera helped the team create a streamlined, consistent technical pipeline and save time. Together, we introduced integrated security tooling and helped the team shift left by using approved technical toolchains and pipeline templates. 

Within a short 45-day period, Opsera helped Workday's shift-left DevOps strategy by providing training to more than 200 developers and integrating their existing security investments into their software supply chain, including AWS. 

The organization achieved a substantial reduction in the number of failed deployments during production, optimizing security, improving productivity, and gaining efficiencies across their development lifecycle. They went from weeks and months of technical review time to days or hours. 

As a result, Workday was able to fully improve their DevSecOps, deploy the largest number of components in its company history, and boost speed, quality, and their overall security posture.
