Today marks a major milestone for Opsera with the announcement of our Series A funding of $15 million led by Felicis Ventures.

We have a bold vision for Opsera -- to democratize DevOps with a continuous orchestration solution that combines  tool choice and no-code automation to empower developers and DevOps engineers to deliver software faster, safer and smarter.

We are excited to be working with Wesley Chan, managing director for Felicis and our new board member, and the entire Felicis team on our shared vision.  We developed a strong mutual connection right from our first meeting.  Felicis’s deep research into this space, an alignment of minds on the approach and possibilities, their deep conviction in our team, and their amazing attitude toward founders make them an ideal partner in our journey ahead.

We are also very thankful to our existing investors, Rajeev Madhavan from Clear Ventures, Schwark Satyavolu from Trinity Ventures and Cherian Matthew from Firebolt Ventures, for their continued support, partnership and belief in us.

A huge and heartfelt thanks to the entire Opsera team who made this all possible, our customers, partners and advisors for your partnership, support and belief in the company. Your contributions are  greatly appreciated!

With the increase in digital transformation and adoption of cloud native technologies, achieving DevOps maturity is a struggle for many organizations, with increasing costs, fragmented teams and data, and an explosion of disconnected tools. Teams must deliver applications faster, on multiple platforms and across multiple cloud environments and engineering leaders also face unknown security and compliance risks due to poor visibility and reporting.  Therefore, in order to transform Devops, the need increases for new approaches that bring flexibility, automation and observability  to the practice.

Taking a customer-first approach in everything we do, we offer a shift in the status quo based on three core tenets:

  1. Self-Service catalog to choose, provision and integrate any CI/CD tools, in minutes.
  2. A common framework to build  declarative pipelines for a variety of release automation use cases, including SDLC (software delivery lifecycle), IaC (infrastructure as code) and SaaS (Software as a Service) application releases (eg: Salesforce, Workday, etc).
  3. Unified view of real-time diagnostics, contextualized metrics and actionable insights.

With Opsera, our customers can significantly shorten software delivery cycles, go to market faster, lower costs and better align software delivery performance to business outcomes. DevOps is a force multiplier for digital transformation and accelerating software delivery. Opsera has the resources, team and shared vision to build upon the many advancements that the entire DevOps community has achieved.

We look forward to the next phase of our growth - to scale our world-class engineering team and  accelerate global sales, marketing and customer success initiatives.  We sincerely thank our existing customers for making us part of their DevOps transformation journey and look forward to adding value to many more.

Like chapters in a good book, DevOps continues to become more compelling. Today, the same holds true for Opsera!
